Advent Full Terms & Conditions

Entry

1. This promotion is open to UK residents only aged 18 and over, who hold a Nectar account, with the exception of employees of the Promoter (defined below) who are associated with the administration of this Promotion. 

2. To enter participants must visit the Nectar website (www.nectar.com/advent) or Nectar app, log into their Nectar account, click through to the Advent Calendar page click the “Bauble” to enter. Winning is not guaranteed. Nectar digital account is required to redeem the prize. 

3. The Promotion opens at 00:01 on 05/12/2024 and closes at 23:59 on 20/12/2024 for receipt of all entries (“Prize Draw Period”). Only one entry per Nectar member, per day. Prizes change daily at 00:01 each day during the Prize Draw Period.  

4. No entries from agents, third parties or organised groups will be accepted. No bulk entries. By entering the prize draw participants are consenting to receive the prizes. The prizes are drawn on different dates during the Prize Draw Period, full details are set out below under “Prizes”. The winners of the prizes will be selected at random and participants will find out instantly if they have won with a pop-up message appearing on the screen informing the player of a ‘win’, if the player has not won a message will appear with a ‘no win’. All instant wins are subject to verification by Nectar. One prize per person only should you be successful. If you do not wish to receive a prize, please contact us on 0344 811 0811 and quote Advent Calendar.

6. Bonus Nectar points: For Bonus Nectar points that are won between 05/12/24 – 15/12/24 will be automatically allocated to winners by 20/12/24. Bonus Nectar points that are won between 16/12/24 – 20/12/24 will be automatically allocated to winners within 28 days of end of the Prize Draw Period. Points will be allocated as stated, subject to delay due to circumstances beyond our control. 

7. Argos eGift cards: eGift cards will be emailed to winners by 20/12/24, subject to delay due to circumstances beyond our control. Winners will be prompted to check that their account details are up to date at the time of winning, so that the eGift card is sent to the correct e-mail address. If the email address on your account is not accurate you will not receive your prize. To check your details visit www.nectar.com/account. The Argos eGift card will be subject to terms of use as detailed below:

8. PepsiCo prizes winners of the free products will receive separate vouchers for each of the products listed in paragraph 5 above in their Nectar offers stream within the Sainsbury’s offers tab in the Nectar app, which will be redeemable on the stated product.  The vouchers will appear in their 'Sainsbury's offers' in the Nectar app or web from 15/01/25and valid until 04/02/25, subject to delay due to circumstances beyond our control. Winners will need to ‘save offer’. To use the vouchers instore on your next shop, at checkout scan the redeemable product, scan your Nectar card or app, select ‘Coupon’ on the payment screen and scan the voucher. A minimum spend of 1p is required on your overall shop. Voucher cannot be used in Locals. To use the vouchers online, add the redeemable product to your basket and checkout. When on the checkout page your available coupons will show.  Click "use coupon" and then "apply coupon" before continuing to checkout. General

9. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into. Where the promotion is run via social media including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook and Tik Tok then the Promotion is no way affiliated with such social media platforms. 

10. The personal data provided by entrants will be used by Nectar for the purposes of conducting its Nectar card scheme and administering the promotion and at all times in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Nectar Privacy Policy (https://www.nectar.com/about/privacy-and-legal/privacy-policy). 

11. The Promoter is not responsible or liable for any entries that are lost or delayed due to faulty or failed electronic data transmissions; communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines satellites, servers, computers or providers utilised in any aspect of this Promotion causing delays or disruption; for claims which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason.  

12. There is no alternative to the stated prize or any cash substitute. The prize is non-transferable. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of greater or equal value.  

13. Winners may be requested to participate in any reasonable publicity when asked by the Promoter and shall not receive payment for such publicity. You may opt-out of publicity. By entering this Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions governing this promotion and by any other requirements set out in related promotional materials. 

14. The name and county of the prize winner can be obtained by writing to the Promoter at the address below within 3 months of the promotion close date. If you do not want your surname and county included on the list of winners referred to above, you must notify the Promoter within a reasonable period of time before the closing date of the promotion. Without prejudice, the Promoter will provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority on reasonable request. 

15. If you would like a written copy of these Terms and Conditions, please write to the Promoter providing your address and contact details. 

16. The Promoter reserves the right to vary the Terms and Conditions or cancel the draw at any stage in the event of circumstances arising beyond its reasonable control. Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the rules will be based on English law and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
