Collecting Nectar points at Esso? Here's what you need to know:

​We’ve made some updates to the Nectar app, and you’ll now see a QR code where the barcode used to be. Your Apple or Google Wallet will also show a QR code which won’t work at Esso as the tills still need a barcode to scan your Nectar card. You can still collect your points; you just need to follow a few steps below to ensure you continue to bag your points. ​

How to keep collecting points:

  1. Use your plastic Nectar card, or​
  2. Open the Nectar app and scan the barcode from there​

 

Finding your barcode in the app is easy:

  1. Update your app to the latest version​
  2. Tap your card on the home screen​
  3. Swipe left to reveal your barcode

Before you spend your points

Don’t forget to unlock your points in the Nectar app or at nectar.com before fuelling at Esso. Remember, once you’ve spent them, lock your points again to keep them safe. Locking won't change anything else in your account so you'll still be able to collect points as usual.
